Iayesha grew up in Oregon and is proud to be a “double duck.” She first obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon, with over a 4.0 grade point average. She went on to receive her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class. Iayesha worked from the age of sixteen to put herself through school. So, she understands how hard her clients work, and how valuable their time and resources are.
Iayesha is part of a small firm tradition of providing high-quality legal services, in a way that is both economical and responsive to client needs.
In addition to representing clients in various settings in Oregon (state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings), Iayesha has regularly represented clients in the state courts of Washington, where she is also licensed.
Recognizing what a privilege it is to be able to practice law, Iayesha carves off time to give back to the community. She has actively served on committees of local Bar associations, one of which honored her with an award for outstanding service. She is a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation Board.
When she is not working, Iayesha enjoys exploring all the Northwest has to offer with her husband and young son, particularly its vital restaurant and foodcart scene!
